We love this one too! Do you think it would be a good idea to do a new plane painting? Do you have any particular planes in mind?
Really like this one. Spent most of my life in the airline business. The bi-plane and motorcycle together, define “Freedom “.
Had a chance to get one at an auction your dad was attending, missed it. Took me a year to found another one. I got it. It was one of thousands, but, I got it. Hangs in my office at home. Thanks
I love the story of you finally finding one. Would like to see a pic of where it hangs. You can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in sharing.
We own Ride Like the Wind, and had it framed and matted in orange and blue. It is a beautiful work. Suggest maybe a P-51 Mustang or a P-47 Thunderbolt. The right Harley would be a tough choice. 100th Anniversary model?
I’m glad you like that rare painting! It’s a beaut. Scott has discussed working on a new plane painting. We shall see!
I got that piece framed many years ago on a cruise. It’s followed me through divorce, losing just about everything, remarriage, and countless moves and still hangs over my living room.
It has lived a long and eventful life alongside you!
Stoked! We put this print in an acrylic plexiglass and it looks great. I emailed a picture of it in my office. This is a great combination of model and year for the bike and plane!
Love it! You got it hung quickly. Congrats!
