photographer olivia jacobs posing with her canon camera

Olivia Jacobs

Though Olivia's father, Scott Jacobs is a world famous artist, her excitement for the Art World wasn't sparked until 2014 when she got her first Canon camera.

She began taking it everywhere with her on hikes, backpacking trips, and adventures through Europe.

Her passion for capturing the natural world intensified once she moved to South Dakota where majority of the land is still wild and intact.

Olivia's photos primarily showcase the simple wonders of the world that we tend to overlook, like the beautiful colors within a frozen puddle of leaves or an old wood barn surrounded by vibrant Fall colors.

Her photos inspire those viewing her world to slow down to appreciate Mother Nature's beautiful wonders that surround us every day.

"Life is too short not to stop and smell the wildflowers. Slow down, take it all in" she said.
