This painting depicts a story of a biker pulling over to see the Mt. Rushmore for the first time, hence the title "Face to Face". Little do most people know that the model is my late father, Dallas.

It was his first time coming to South Dakota and he had no idea that he'd be the model for my Official 69th Sturgis piece in 2009. We simply started dressing Dallas up in biker gear at the monument's Observation Deck and the rest is history.
