“In the Fall of 2023, Jared and I attended a friend’s wedding in Virginia.  On the drive to the small town that the celebration was held, we stopped at a state park to stretch our legs and let me play with my camera.

Somewhere on the trail, I lost Jared and our friend, Austin.  Rather than get nervous that I was alone in an unknown forest without cell service, I set up my tripod to capture a magnificant tree that caught my attention immediately.

There was something about its size and stature that made it look regal among the fall colors around it; like it was the mother to all the trees around it.

It’s one of my Top 3 photos I captured while on this trip.”
