The Story: Ain’t It Good To Be Alive
Ain’t It Good to be Alive was a commissioned piece by Charlie Daniels’ agent. He celebrated his 80th birthday in Nashville at a private party where he unveiled the painting.
The logo on the bottle is for his band, the cowboy hat is his favorite hat that he always wears; he was wearing it the night of the party.
Scott Artist Notes
“I had the honor of unveiling Charlie Daniels’ 80th birthday gift which was commissioned by his agents, APA at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. I want to thank Daniel James and my nephew, Todd in helping me complete this due to my injury! Charlie loved it!”

That looks so good Scott. We were priviledged to see it in the process at Deadwood this year.
Scott, I bought one of your paintings of a Panzier. I was wondering how much it’s worth now. I love your site and the clothes and hats very cool. You are a great painter. I am glad for Olivia being in your life. It has made you have a more real look to your work. Keep it up! Thanks for memories
