Days of ’76
This week, Deadwood celebrated its 94th Annual Days of ’76 Rodeo!
Cowboys and girls traveled from all over to attend and participate in this iconic rodeo in The Black Hills.
It was my first year being able to experience the rodeo after coming to the area for 12 years! I loved seeing so many horses, but mostly all the little cowkids in their boots, and hats, with their shirts tucked in under their big belt buckles. SO cute!
FUN FACT:
According to Deadwood.com, “The Days of ’76 Rodeo has been named the PRCA Small Outdoor Rodeo of the Year four times and was named PRCA Midsize Rodeo of the Year for 2004 through 2015.”

Some of our new shirts were designed with the rodeo crowd in mind, like our “Original Cowgirl” shirt above.
We sold out of the short-sleeve red top before the week even started, but I luckily reordered more in time!
Friday’s Tough Enough to Wear Pink Parade
And of course, we can’t forget to respect our Founding Fathers and the wonderful monument, Mount Rushmore that’s only an hour away!
We can’t forget the mules of the parade either! Look at those ears! 😀
Familiar Faces From Our Construction Crew!
Everyone meet Kevin (above). He helped us in the beginning phases of our building renovation.
This is our contractor, Paul and his horse Squirt. During the parade he is known as Mr. Bullock dressed to the nines in his Western getup.
Now that the rodeo is over, it’s time to get prepared for the Sturgis crowd!
See you!
