Artist’s Notes

“I was commissioned by a collector to do my version of Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe.  She wanted the painting to be 5′ x 5′ which is the largest one of my career.  I had so much fun creating this piece because Andy and Marilyn are two of my favorite people.

Unlike Andy’s, each of my Marilyn’s are individually hand-painted which was pretty time-consuming.”
