“This male Blue Jay was staring at me while I was attempting to shoo him away from the bird feeder.  They’re brash, noisy and tend to chase away other smaller birds so they can have the feeder to themselves.  They’re commonly found in the Black Hills and their nesting season is May through June in South Dakota.”
