“While I was on a trip to Jackson, Wyoming for a presidential fundraiser with my family, I took some time with my camera to take a break from parenting.

I had been doing it alone in an Airbnb with a sick toddler while my ex was getting fundraiser work done. Luckily Nana was with us, so I told her I needed some fresh air or else I was going to lose it.

I took my 4Runner and camera for a solo adventure to find my sanity. My music was playing and there was no destination in sight.  As I made my way towards Grand Tetons, I spotted the glow of the setting sun hitting the snowcapped peak of Grand Teton. It was peeking out behind a thick layer of clouds and it took my break away.

I quickly stopped my car hoping to capture this spontaneous moment from the side of the road. I’m really happy I did because it has become a new favorite!”
