"This was my second time attending the Scott Jacobs Artist Retreat and wow, I'm amazed at the talent all these professionals have!
Scott, Alexa, Olivia, Jimi, and Jackie were all around us helping and assisting. We were shown extra techniques that Scott said took him years to perfect. He was so kind to show us.
I loved the extra references we had at our table of the butterfly, it really helped take the guess work out on stippling and line work. I walked away from this class knowing a lot more than I did before I came. The blending technique, making sure your paint is still wet and work fast will get the results you want. The marble technique and wood was an added bonus training I made sure I got recorded on my phone!
I want to say thank you to all for making us feel like family, I really felt so comfortable and calm while doing the projects.
Scott and Sharon, thank you for inviting all of us to your beautiful home and cooking us an amazing meal! I love all your fur babies too! I hope there's another class In the future because I will be there without a doubt!"

"My friend Sandy joined me on this amazing journey with Scott Jacobs. My husband and I love Scott’s art and our favorite, of course, is a Scott's Harley paintings. Scott and his family (Sharon, Alexa and Olivia) along with the gallery (Jimi, Jackie and Traci) welcomed the Retreat team to a beautiful cocktail party which allowed the team the opportunity to get to know each other.
The next morning we started by learned watercolors and then acrylic painting. Alexa was spot on with also showing us painting techniques.
Olivia photographed special memories of our event and we all loved morning yoga/stretches along with pastries from Jacobs Grocer. We enjoyed a wine pairing dinner at Jacobs Brewhouse.
On our last day of the retreat, it was so amazing and kind of Scott and Sharon to open up their home to our class.
I walked away feeling that I gained family - from the Jacobs to Jimi, Jackie, Traci, along with my retreat colleagues! Beautiful memories!!!"
