“I really wanted to test myself with this one. I took the photo reference of my sister, Olivia walking up my parents’ staircase to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. Something I was really looking forward to painting was the wrought iron staircase, so I made sure that was a big part of the painting. I look forward to painting more of it in the future.”
